The Senior Manager of Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the KKF communication strategy, both internally and externally. This position is directly responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent and compelling messaging matrix that resonates with our stakeholders, employees, and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that ensures alignment with company objectives and enhances employee engagement and understanding.
  • Create and distribute internal communications materials, including newsletters, memos, and announcements, to keep employees informed about company news, initiatives, and events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by organizing internal events, workshops, and surveys to gather feedback and improve internal communication channels – directly responsible for the development and execution of quarterly Town Hall meetings as well as “culture days” designed to encourage engagement and develop a spirit of camaraderie throughout the organization.
  • One of the main contributors to the development of the annual company conference and the showing at the NACS tradeshow.
  • Lead internal communication efforts during critical situations, providing timely updates and guidance to employees.
  • Copywriting for various deliverables including press releases, internal and external communications, web, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop communication-related training programs and materials for employees.
  • Support PR efforts with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive media coverage and manage all media inquiries.
  • Assist with development and execution of public relations campaigns to enhance the company’s image, including writing press releases and organizing press conferences.
  • Manage the “in the news” section of the company’s website to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to the public.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external audiences, especially licensees, industry associations and community organizations.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative communication strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
