After over 20 years of agency life it was time for a break. My wife and I packed up the truck, loaded up the kids and took our Airstream out west for a yearlong adventure. We covered over 20 states (plus Vancouver), hiked and explored nearly two dozen of our Nation’s National Parks. Even though our trip was cut short by a couple of months, I can’t describe how fortunate we were to be able do it all together as a family.

Knowing our adventures would eventually come to an end, I began to wonder “what’s my next adventure?” So when we returned home I decided to follow my passion and start BONIFOTO – commercial and product photography.

Prior to starting BONIFOTO, I spent over 20 years with an advertising agency in Louisville as an art director and creative director. I worked with a lot of amazing photographers and I learned a lot working beside them. Later, my agency began to invest in studio and photography gear working towards bringing a portion of our photography in-house. What started with smaller projects, over time transitioned into virtually shooting everything in-house. During my final five-ish years, I shot for national and regional brands including: Schmitt Sohne Wines, RELAX Wines, Spudz Chips, Baptist Health, Commonwealth Bank and Trust, the Kentucky Chapter of JDRF and many others. I look forward to shooting for you and your brand too.
