This small report was pushed out by Pew Research to coincide with dry January. It breaks down alcohol consumption over the past several decades, looking at trends, what demographics are consuming and how much.

One surprising stat to me, is beer consumption has declined while wine drinking is on the rise. Spirits are also slightly down, but looking at the trend line, they appear to be on the rise. It will be interesting to see how 2024 plays out.
